La Cala de Mijas is a small city resort but is an upcoming area with great variety of restaurants both cheap and expensive. There is a marked day on wednesdays and you have walkingdistance to one of the golf clubs. You are 10 minutes away with car to Marbella. 5 minutes to Fuengirola. You can actually walk to Fuengirola or to Marbella / Cabopino on the board walk. You are allowed to bicycle on the board walk in weekdays. The bus runns every 20 minutes in both directions.
Fantasic place for golfing, walking, hiking and bicycling in the area and the most important to enjoy life in more than 320 sunny days in the year.
Costa del Sol is also known for all happenings during the whole year. Conserts, festivals, sport events and traditional celebratings in every nearby city. Never boring.
